The New Year's Soiree will now be held at Ethereal in Woodstock, Illinois. This historic gem, nestled in the heart of Woodstock Square, offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern elegance ... and even better, it's attached to a chocolate shop cafe. The Woodstock Square is lit up with twinkle lights every holiday season, so make sure you get a chance to explore it while you're visiting. It was also the filming location for the iconic movie, "Groundhog's Day".

Traveling to Woodstock

Woodstock is a small town in McHenry County, Illinois. At 51 miles northwest of Chicago, it is one of the city's outer-most suburbs.

If you're flying in from O'Hare International Airport (ORD), which we recommend, expect a 55 minute drive depending on traffic. Midway (MDW) is about an hour and a half away. Minneapolis is a 5.5 hour drive. The Wisconsin border is 30 minutes away.

Woodstock is approximately 20 minutes from our three hotel blocks.

The Holiday Inn is located 25 minutes from the venue. Take advantage of the complimentary shuttle ride to Pingree Metra Station to get downtown Chicago.

There is a shuttle service to the venue and back for the Holiday Inn.

The Country Inn is located 20 minutes from the venue, off of Route 14 near the village of Cary. The hotel is less than a mile from the Pingree Metra Station and just over an hour from downtown Chicago. Try pizza at Nick's Pizza while you're here.

The Hampton Inn is located 20 minutes from the venue in Huntley. Located close to the I90, this is a good option for those who want to hop on the highway and drive to Wisconsin or Chicago. Free parking and breakfast.

Parking

There is plenty of free parking around the Woodstock Square. The event will be inside the Courthouse building with an accessible back entrance located on Throop Street. Otherwise, you can enter the building in the front and take pictures on the beautiful front stairs.

Please plan for a safe ride home. Due to the time of year and our venue's location, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be less reliable.
